CPD/CE ACCREDITED WORKSHOPS
Parenting is one of the most important roles we ever take on and also one of the most emotionally complex. Many parents are navigating their own unhealed trauma while trying to raise children who feel safe, seen, and supported. Trauma Informed Parenting Workshops offer an empowering, evidence-based approach to help parents understand behaviour through the lens of the nervous system, emotional regulation, and early attachment.
These workshops are ideal for schools, community organisations, parent support groups, and professionals working with families. All sessions are CPD/CE accredited, rooted in somatic and nervous system-informed practice, and designed to be inclusive, practical, and deeply supportive.

Children’s behaviour is often a reflection of their internal world, not defiance or disrespect. When parents understand the impact of trauma, including intergenerational trauma, they are better equipped to respond with compassion and regulation, rather than react from stress or shame. These workshops explore how the parent’s nervous system directly influences the child’s, and how emotional safety becomes the foundation for resilience, trust, and healthy development.

Support co-regulation and connection.

Understand the root of challenging behaviours

Reduce power struggles by increasing felt safety

Build healthy attachment and emotional intelligence

Begin healing their own patterns and triggers with compassion.

Discover how a trauma-informed approach can transform the way you understand and respond to your child's behaviour.
This workshop explores the impact of stress, trauma and the nervous system on children's emotional responses, helping parents and carers recognise what behaviour may be communicating beneath the surface. You'll leave with practical tools to build stronger connections, support emotional regulation and approach challenging moments with greater confidence and compassion.
DURATION : 90 Minutes

For those looking to explore these concepts in greater depth, this workshop provides a more comprehensive understanding of trauma-informed parenting and how to apply it in everyday family life.
Together, we'll explore practical strategies that help create emotionally safe environments, strengthen parent-child relationships and support children's wellbeing through connection rather than punishment. The focus is on building confidence, reducing overwhelm and helping families navigate challenges with empathy and understanding.

What an incredible CPD day! As a trainer, I truly believe we should never stop learning and today was such a valuable investment in my own development. I attended Emily’s group sessions covering: Trauma-informed practice to support a child’s mental health, Positive psychology to improve mental health in young people and adults and The physiology of domestic abuse. The sessions were so well structured, engaging and thoughtfully delivered. The group environment felt safe, supportive and full of like-minded professionals who genuinely care about making a difference. There was a great balance of theory, discussion and practical activities. I’ve come away with knowledge I can apply straight into my own work. Thank you for such a powerful and inspiring day. I would highly recommend these sessions to anyone working with children, young people or families.
